This insulation roll is 10 ft. Floorfoam is made from 4mm of high density polyester foam with a highly reflective true aluminium foil on either side. At only 4mm thick floor foam effectively insulates your floor while keeping the floor height to a minimum. Ecotec floor foam is a multi layered aluminium with a dense foam membrane making it the ideal solution for under carpets laminate vinyl and wood. The perfect insulation solution for underneath carpet vinyl laminate or wooden flooring. Ecotec floor foam insulation kit is designed to increase insulation below carpet underlay wood laminate and vinyl floors to prevent cold from below the floor.

Ecotec shed insulation works best by creating a 25mm airgap between the insulation and the timber usually with 25mm battens. Attic spaces exterior and interior walls interior masonry walls radiant floors metal and steel buildings knee walls crawl spaces garage ceilings and many other applications where insulation is needed. Ecotec floorfoam prevents cold air penetrating rooms through concrete and timber floors and helps prevent condensation and draughts while helping dampen any sound. If you do not have access to the underside of your floor or don t want to remove floor boards then ecotec floor foam is the solution for you.

This helps the product to reflect and also helps stop any cold bridging. The ecotec floor foam insulation kit consists of 2 layers of highly reflective true aluminium foil either side of a dense foam membrane which reduces cold bridging keeping your home warmer. High and 5 16 in. Takes up minimal space and helps eliminate damp drafts and cold air from rising into your home.

When boarding internally a second 25mm airgap is recommended to create airspace either side of the insulation. The high performing insulation kit comes on an easy to handle 1 2m x 25m roll covering 30 square metres which is enough for 2 rooms in most houses. Ecotherm insulation has excellent compressive strength which is advantageous when insulating a floor.
